Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 16, 2026

Frontiers Media Group, LLC ("Frontiers," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through frontiers-media.com and related Frontiers websites (the "Site"), how we use and disclose it, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights available to you, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA").

1. Information We Collect

At this stage, the Site collects only the information you voluntarily provide when you sign up for updates:

  • Email address, when you submit the signup form.
  • Standard technical information collected automatically by our hosting and analytics tools, such as IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, used only for site security, performance, and basic usage analytics.

We do not currently request or collect your name, mailing address, phone number, or any sensitive personal information (as defined under the CCPA) through the Site.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Send you updates about the launch of Frontiers and related content;
  • Operate, secure, and improve the Site; and
  • Respond to inquiries you send to us directly.

3. No Sale or Sharing of Personal Information

Frontiers does not sell or share (as those terms are defined under the CCPA, including for cross-context behavioral advertising) your personal information to or with advertisers or other third parties. We do not and will not monetize subscriber data by transferring it to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We disclose your email address only to service providers who process it on our behalf and under contract, solely to help us operate the Site and deliver communications you have signed up for (for example, our email/newsletter delivery platform and website hosting provider). These service providers are prohibited from using your information for any purpose other than providing services to us.

We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Frontiers, our users, or others.

4. Data Retention

We retain signup information for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, or if your subscription becomes inactive (for example, repeated bounces or no engagement), we will delete or de-identify your information within 24 months of that event, unless a longer period is required to comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

5. Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you and how it has been used and disclosed;
  • Delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions;
  • Correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you;
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (Frontiers does not sell or share personal information, so no opt-out is required to achieve this);
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information (not applicable, as we do not collect sensitive personal information); and
  • Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@frontiersmagazine.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will verify your request using the email address associated with your subscription and will respond within the time required by law.

6. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at contact@frontiersmagazine.com so we can delete it.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect the personal information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Site develops. We will post the revised policy on this page with an updated effective date, and, for material changes, provide additional notice where required by law.
